Satchi has been a friend since medical college days He has been a true fiend with a sharp intellect and genuine feeling for the less privileged. I have enjoyed the long conversations that we had on politics, religion and social issues.
He was a visionary who contributed vast amounts of money to the Tamil cause.
He was an intellectual with excellent debating skills. He was a good orator and voracious reader.
He was really proud of his wife and children and loved them.
He was very spiritual, meditating every morning.
I regret not having kept contact with him in the last year. I am honoured to have been a friend.

Our deepest sympathies to Gnanam akka and family.
Khili Anna will be very much missed.
I had known him since I was a little boy and he had showed deep affection towards me.I always admired him like a big brother.
Khili anna never forgot his roots from Jaffna. He was so proud of his hometown and his Tamil community.
He always gave great advices for life. All these are priceless gifts and will always be treasured.
May his gentle soul find peace and liberation🙏🏼🙏🏼.

Let the beauty of what you love be what you do'
Periappa you are a kind, intelligent loving soul. You spoke to me as if i mattered from a young age and told me many things. You never watered down what you had to say and was a man of integrity. You taught me many lessons and made time for me. You always treated me with love and care. From how computers work to helping me decide not to be a doctor I will always remember you with found memories Periappa. I know you are not gone, it's just that we can't see you in physical form when we want. Thank you for being you and seeing me x
